Job Description

The Vice President Product Manager will lead customer acquisition and marketing platform digital products for JPMorganChase, onsite in Plano, TX. This role directs the end-to-end product lifecycle, defines the roadmap, and coordinates cross-functional delivery to maximize customer value.

Responsibilities

  • Define a compelling product strategy and vision that consistently delivers customer value.
  • Lead discovery and market research efforts to identify customer solutions and fold them into the product roadmap.
  • Own and refine the product backlog to support the strategic roadmap and value proposition.
  • Build the technical framework and monitor key metrics such as cost, feature availability, risk posture, and reliability.
  • Manage relationships with engineering, architecture, analytics, automation, and partner product teams to align needs and program goals.
  • Communicate the product vision regularly and articulate the questions and answers required to deliver the right features.
  • Serve as a knowledge hub by connecting digital experience expertise with teams that can drive change.
  • Act as a technical and customer problem solver by defining the problem, understanding the platform’s role in the Chase ecosystem, and evaluating technologies and approaches.
  • Oversee the end-to-end API product roadmap, including vision, development, risk management, and growth targets.
  • Lead discovery and development of API driven products and methodologies to enhance the customer experience and drive business growth.
  • Coordinate complex product initiatives across multiple areas, ensuring strategy alignment, prioritization, sequencing, and strong partnerships with the Quad (Product, Experience, Tech/Architecture/Data & Analytics).

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of experience in product management or a related domain, or equivalent expertise.
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development lifecycle, design practices, and data analytics.
  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end product lifecycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
  • Ability to challenge conventional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation.
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills across engineering, architecture, analytics, automation, and partner product teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to share the product vision and clarify questions needed to deliver features.
  • Demonstrated technical and customer problem-solving capabilities, including problem definition, platform context, and evaluating technologies and approaches.
  • Proven ability to build and manage technical product roadmaps, including API driven capabilities, end-to-end.
  • Ability to define, track, and manage product success metrics such as cost, functionality, risk posture, and reliability.
  • Capacity to drive cross-functional alignment, prioritization, and sequencing across multiple initiatives and teams, and to foster robust Quad partnerships to achieve results.
