Job Description

Palm Construction is hiring a Sales and Marketing Operations Analyst onsite in Woodland Hills, CA. In this role, you will own reporting and CRM dashboards that track full-funnel performance, analyze marketing channels and vendors, and translate data into actionable next steps for leadership and the field.

Responsibilities

  • Build and run weekly and monthly sales and marketing status reports for leadership, including pipeline, conversion by stage, performance by market, and trends requiring attention.
  • Deliver recurring reporting to sales and company leadership, translate findings into concrete actions, and follow through with the field to ensure measurable movement in results.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting used across sales and marketing, built on CRM data (Quickbase), from leadership views to market-level and team-level reporting.
  • Connect metrics across the customer journey from lead to appointment set, confirmation, sit, sale, dispatch, and production to identify where deals progress and where they stall.
  • Create and maintain rep-level scorecards across markets, covering time to work a lead, sit rates, closing rates, and referral, repeat, and upsell activity; maintain ongoing communication with sales leaders, sales reps, and general managers.
  • Support monthly sales forecasting by market using pipeline and historical data.
  • Identify bottlenecks in lead and deal movement through internal systems (handoffs, confirmations, dispatch) and propose fixes.
  • Connect sales, dispatch, and marketing systems so data flows cleanly between them; own data mapping and validation for platform upgrades to ensure no data loss.
  • Run recurring analysis of marketing sources and platforms, including cost per lead, cost per sit, and cost per sale by platform and by market, and turn results into recommendations for where to invest.
  • Conduct recurring performance reviews of lead-generation and marketing vendors, holding them accountable on cost, volume, and lead quality while managing relationships based on the numbers.
  • Research and recommend new marketing sources, identify and connect with vendors to open channels, and test performance with data before scaling spend.
  • Score lead quality by source through to sale and ensure accurate attribution of each sale to its originating source so marketing decisions are revenue-based.
  • Track marketing spend by platform and by market against outcomes, and recommend budget shifts toward what converts.
  • Own performance for the website and social media channels, tracking conversion from visit to lead, analyzing engagement and lead generation by channel, making recommendations for improvement, and coordinating execution with outside vendors.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, marketing analytics, or a closely related analytical role.
  • Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills, including the ability to model, pivot, and reconcile large datasets.
  • Hands-on CRM experience building reports, dashboards, and workflows, not only data entry; Quickbase experience is a plus (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar also welcome).
  • Experience with BI and dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar.
  • Fluency in marketing performance metrics including cost per lead, cost per sale, and conversion by channel, with judgment to evaluate platforms, campaigns, and new sources based on the numbers.
  • Comfort managing external vendors and internal stakeholders, including running performance reviews and communicating clearly with sales leadership in the field.
  • Ability to turn data into a clear story for leadership and salespeople who do not live in spreadsheets.
  • Self-directed, detail-obsessed, and able to spot inconsistencies in reporting.
  • Familiarity with web and social analytics such as Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite (or similar tools).
  • Experience in home improvement, home services, or another direct-to-consumer sales environment is a plus.
