Sales & Marketing Analyst
Job Description
G&H Solutions is seeking a Sales & Marketing Analyst in Canoga Park, CA, onsite. This role owns the data-driven engine behind sales and marketing performance, building operations analytics, managing CRM reporting, and translating full-funnel results into actionable insights for leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain weekly and monthly sales and marketing status reports for leadership, including pipeline, conversion by stage, performance by market, and trends requiring attention.
- Develop dashboards and reporting outputs powered by CRM data (Quickbase), supporting leadership visibility through market-level and team-level views.
- Connect metrics across the full customer journey, from lead to appointment set, confirmation, sit, sale, dispatch, and production to identify where deals progress or stall.
- Create rep-level scorecards used by sales managers, including time to work a lead, sit rates, closing rates, and referral, repeat, and upsell activity by rep and by market.
- Support monthly sales forecasting by market using pipeline and historical data.
- Identify bottlenecks in lead and deal movement across handoffs and operational steps (including confirmations and dispatch) and propose data-backed improvements.
- Connect sales, dispatch, and marketing systems to ensure clean data flow, owning data mapping and validation during stack upgrades and platform evaluations.
- Conduct recurring analysis of marketing sources and platforms, including cost per lead, cost per sit, and cost per sale by platform and by market, and convert results into investment recommendations.
- Run recurring performance reviews for lead-generation and marketing vendors, evaluating cost, volume, and lead quality while managing vendor relationships on agreed metrics.
- Research and recommend new marketing sources, connect with vendors to open additional channels, and test new initiatives with data prior to scaling spend.
- Score lead quality by source through to sale, ensuring sales are attributed to the originating source so marketing decisions are grounded in revenue, not only lead volume.
- Track marketing spend by platform and by market against outcomes, recommending budget shifts toward what converts.
- Own performance of website and social media channels by tracking visit-to-lead conversion, analyzing engagement and lead generation by channel, and coordinating with external vendors to execute improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, marketing analytics, or a comparable analytical role.
- Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills, including the ability to model, pivot, and reconcile large datasets.
- Hands-on CRM experience building reports, dashboards, and workflows (data entry only is not the focus). Quickbase experience is a plus; Salesforce or HubSpot experience is also welcome.
- Experience with BI and dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar.
- Fluency in marketing performance metrics including cost per lead, cost per sale, and conversion by channel, along with sound judgment for evaluating platforms and campaigns using data.
- Comfort managing external vendors, including running performance reviews based on results.
- Ability to communicate data findings clearly to leadership and sales teams who do not work in spreadsheets daily.
- Self-directed, detail-focused approach with strong data validation habits.
- Familiarity with web and social analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite, or similar.
- Experience in home improvement, home services, or another direct-to-consumer sales environment is a plus.
