Job Description

Principal Associate, Social Operations & Enablement at Information Technology Senior Management Forum, based in McLean, VA (onsite).

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary administrator for social media management platforms, accounts, and related tools; oversee daily operations and ensure internal teams have the necessary access and training.
  • Develop and uphold a governance framework for social media, covering best practices, brand standards, and crisis management across all active platforms.
  • Protect the brand by enforcing security protocols and data privacy compliance across all social channels.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to optimize the social landscape through technology, AI, and automation solutions.
  • Serve as an internal consultant, providing dedicated support and strategic guidance to the performance marketing, media, and advertising teams for paid social initiatives.
  • Collaborate with strategists, engagement, and insights teams to enable campaign execution, community management, reporting, and analytics.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and agencies responsible for social media management, tools, and services.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team environment by partnering with internal business stakeholders to understand needs and tailor solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience
  • Minimum three years of social media marketing experience, with proficiency in Meta Business Suite, Business Managers, and Sprinklr
  • At least two years of relationship management experience in digital agencies or as a contractor
  • At least two years of social media paid marketing and reporting experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of social or digital marketing experience
  • 4+ years managing complex processes across multiple stakeholder groups and implementing process improvements
  • 4+ years of experience in social media or marketing operations
  • 4+ years of experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries
