Social Media Marketing Assistant

Support social media growth for two local businesses in Knoxville while building hands-on marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Help create engaging social media content for multiple platforms across 2 different businesses in the portfolio
• Monitor and engage with online communities to support brand awareness
• Assist with designing visual assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
• Support video editing and proofreading for social media posts and captions
• Collaborate with the team on social media campaigns and initiatives
• Help with public relations and day-to-day community management
• Learn and support scheduling using tools such as MyMarky.ai and GoHighLevel CRM
• Assist with newsletter and email campaign creation using GoHighLevel CRM and Driive Marketing

Requirements

• Knowledge of social media platforms and current trends
• Familiarity with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator
• Basic understanding of web technologies and digital marketing concepts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous social media marketing experience is a plus (not required)

• Pay: $13.00–$15.00 per hour
