Pre-Sale Fitness Marketing/Operations Manager

Amped Fitness is building from the ground up in Lewis Center, OH, and this Pre-Sale Operations Manager role helps shape how the new club opens and how members experience it from day one. You will help drive membership momentum, develop the front desk team, and keep the club operationally ready for Grand Opening and beyond.

What you’ll do before opening

• Welcome gym members, prospective clients, and guests with a warm, engaging presence.
• Manage check-ins, answer questions, and deliver high-quality customer service with a can-do attitude.
• Create an energetic atmosphere through every interaction so guests leave motivated and excited about their fitness journey.
• Coordinate key pre-sale operations, including scheduling tours and handling membership inquiries.
• Track and maintain inventory levels for gym supplies, including towels, cleaning products, office supplies, and retail items (energy drinks and apparel).
• Hire, train, and manage front desk staff, ensuring consistent service quality and proper coverage during peak and non-peak hours.
• Develop and post engaging social media content, including updates, promotions, and success stories.

What happens after Grand Opening

Once the club opens, the role expands into member retention, front-desk operations, KPI performance, staff development, and protecting the overall member experience.

What you bring

• Fitness industry experience is required.
• Pre-sale, new-club opening, membership sales, or high-volume fitness operations experience is strongly preferred.
• A high-energy personality who can energize a team and help create a positive atmosphere.
• Excellent communication skills to connect with members and support staff.
• Leadership experience to lead or coordinate teams while maintaining morale.
• Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks, scheduling, and coordination.
• A collaborative, team-first approach that strengthens workplace culture.
