Job Description

Marketing Specialist at Puget Law Group is a hands-on role that combines strategic planning with creative execution to elevate a professional services brand. Based in Tacoma, WA, this position focuses on developing and delivering digital marketing campaigns, scalable content, and optimization across multiple channels to increase visibility, engagement, and client value.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and manage social content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Spotify, and TikTok
  • Coordinate paid campaigns (Google Ads, LSAs, Meta Ads Manager) with agency partners and report on cost-per-lead and cost-per-case
  • Manage email, mobile, and traditional advertising including radio, billboards, and newsletters
  • Partner with our SEO vendor on website updates, landing pages, and content
  • Audit content for ranking and user experience opportunities; monitor Google Analytics and Search Console
  • Maintain profiles on Avvo, SuperLawyers, BBB, Yelp, and Google
  • Lead review generation campaigns and manage a defined response protocol, including for negative reviews
  • Monitor brand mentions across the web and flag reputation risks to leadership
  • Draft or coordinate blog posts, practice area pages, case results, and newsletter copy
  • Write ad copy for paid search and social campaigns
  • Ensure all advertising, case results, and testimonials comply with Washington RPC 7.1–7.3 attorney advertising rules, routing content through attorney/compliance review prior to publication
  • Own day-to-day tracking of the marketing budget across channels and vendors
  • Manage contracts, deliverables, invoices, and purchase orders for outside vendors and contractors
  • Manage inbound leads and data in our CRM
  • Track KPIs and campaign performance, translating data into actionable strategy
  • Shoot and edit short-form video, graphics, and photos for social and web
  • Manage on-site photography and support for trade shows and community events

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience), with 2–4 years of marketing experience, ideally in a professional services, legal, or lead-generation environment
  • Ability to own marketing campaigns end-to-end, including content creation, result analysis, and data-driven optimization
  • Understanding of the full funnel with a proactive approach to increasing traffic, engagement, conversion, and long-term client value
  • Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar graphic editors, WordPress, project management tools, and a CRM (Clio Grow or comparable)
  • Experience drafting or coordinating marketing copy within attorney advertising rules and internal review processes
  • Preferred: background in sales, retail, or performance marketing; familiarity with Google Ads and Google Analytics
