Marketing Representative OPC - Retail

Position overview: The Marketing Representative - Retail supports guest engagement at busy Waikoloa visitor hubs, welcoming travelers, sharing local tips, and inviting eligible guests to participate in vacation ownership presentations. Onboarding support and an incentive program are part of the role, with on-site duties at Waikoloa locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors in a friendly, respectful manner and initiate brief conversations to establish rapport.
• Ask guests what they love about their trip and provide quick recommendations for dining, shopping, and local highlights around Waikoloa.
• Share practical information about Hawaiʻi Island, including beaches, scenic drives, cultural sites, family-friendly activities, and planning tips using approved resources.
• Where available, present eligible offers, promotions, or discounts using approved materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Invite eligible guests to engage directly to learn more about vacation ownership.
• Schedule guest appointments for presentations and previews, including mini-vacation packages when applicable, and clearly explain where to go, when to arrive, and what to expect.
• Enter accurate guest and appointment details into basic systems (tablet, iPad, or PC), maintain an organized workspace, and work toward daily and weekly goals with coaching.

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems confidently.

Schedule and Location

• Shifts follow visitor patterns and business needs, with hours from 11:00am to 7:30pm.
• Weekend and holiday availability is required.
• On-site assignment at Kings’ Shops and Queens’ Marketplace in Waikoloa, Hawaiʻi.

Compensation

Salary: USD 17 per hour.
