The position offers a salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 per year plus benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development support. John Malecki Media is a content and e-commerce company built on the trades, woodworking, and shop culture, with 4M+ followers across platforms and a growing product line. We are hiring a Marketing Manager to own and expand the e-commerce side of the business.
Responsibilities
- E-commerce revenue: your north star is consistent month over month growth.
- Shopify storefront end to end: merchandising, conversion optimization, average order value, and on site experience.
- Marketing campaigns from concept to execution and management of the full promotional calendar.
- Email and SMS (Klaviyo) flows and campaigns, expanding this channel into real revenue.
- Product launch strategy with cross channel coordination, built into a repeatable playbook.
- On brand content designed to convert, produced quickly and often with AI assistance.
- Oversee outside contractors and vendors when needed: briefs, scope, deadlines, and quality control.
- Regular reporting on performance and revenue pacing against monthly goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of marketing experience.
- Shopify and ecommerce experience is a must.
- Proficient in Klaviyo, Notion, Adobe Suite, and Claude or comparable AI tools.
- Effective content creator who can produce content that performs and converts.
- Tech-forward, AI fluent, highly organized, and takes full ownership.
- Bonus: familiarity with trades, DIY, woodworking, or shop culture space.
