Job Description

The Marketing Manager will build and own the in-house marketing function for United Print, Signs & Graphics, driving brand development, lead generation, and the modernization of marketing technology with AI-powered initiatives in a hybrid role based in Kent, Washington.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the annual marketing strategy, calendar, and budget aligned to revenue targets.
  • Define target customer segments (small business, real estate, events, retail, construction, and trade shows) with tailored positioning for each.
  • Set, monitor, and report on KPIs such as lead volume, cost per lead, conversion rate, customer acquisition cost, and ROI.
  • Maintain brand voice, visual consistency, and messaging across all channels.
  • Plan and produce content including web copy, blog and SEO articles, case studies, email campaigns, social posts, and print/signage portfolio showcases.
  • Oversee the company website in WordPress, focusing on updates, landing pages, SEO, and conversion optimization.
  • Execute lead-generation campaigns across email, paid search and social, SEO, and local listings (Google Business Profile, directories).
  • Manage and optimize HubSpot CRM, ensuring pipeline hygiene, effective lead routing, automated nurturing, and cross-functional reporting with sales.
  • Manage social media presence and foster community engagement.
  • Build and maintain an AI-assisted marketing workflow for content creation, design ideation, ad copy, analytics, and personalization.
  • Evaluate, implement, and train the team on marketing tools and integrations.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and the production/design team to ensure messaging aligns with delivered outputs.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors such as printers, ad platforms, and freelancers as needed.
  • Oversee the marketing budget and report spend versus results.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years in marketing, with at least two in a strategic or managerial role.
  • Proven knowledge of AI marketing stacks, including generative AI for copy and imagery and AI features in CRM/automation platforms.
  • Hands-on WordPress experience (or another content management system).
  • Hands-on HubSpot experience (or another customer relationship management platform).
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
  • Proven ability to work independently and drive projects from concept through results.
