Job Description
Racing Sport Concepts is seeking a hands-on Marketing Coordinator to manage day-to-day marketing activities across channels for a luxury automotive brand known for its C8 Corvette, BMW M5, and Porsche components. Based in Johnstown/Sunbury, Ohio, this onsite role reports to the President and offers growth opportunities as you help expand the brand’s reach within the enthusiast community.
Responsibilities
- Content & social media: Plan, schedule, and publish content across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging channels; engage with followers and the enthusiast community; coordinate product photography and video shoots, and capture content yourself when possible.
- Email marketing: Build and send campaigns and newsletters in Klaviyo; maintain segmentation, automated flows, and review marketing.
- Website & merchandising: Keep product pages, collections, and on-site content fresh and accurate in Shopify; build out new product pages at launch, publish blog content, and maintain basic on-page SEO hygiene.
- Product launches: Lead go-to-market plans for new products (including C8 Corvette components and BMW M5 components); execute the multi-channel launch checklist from start to finish using the strategy provided.
- Influencer & ambassador program: Coordinate outreach, manage product seeding, track deliverables, and maintain relationships with creators and partners.
- Events & trade shows: Support marketing for shows like the NCM Corvette Bash and Corvettes at Carlisle, including pre-show promotion, discount codes, lead capture, and follow-up.
- Reporting: Track weekly and monthly marketing metrics; clearly communicate what works, what doesn’t, and what you would change.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of marketing experience, ideally at a small business, e-commerce, or direct-to-consumer brand where you handled multiple areas yourself.
- A genuine generalist who is comfortable being the only marketing person on a small team — self-directed, organized, and reliable on follow-through.
- Strong brand instincts and taste. You understand premium positioning and can keep a brand voice consistent across channels.
- Solid writing skills for product, email, and social copy.
- Comfort with major social platforms and at least one email marketing platform.
- Basic fluency with analytics and reporting (GA4 or platform-native insights).
- Genuine willingness to learn the automotive and enthusiast space.

- Reports directly to the President.
- Compensation: $62,000–$72,000, commensurate with experience.
What this role is — and isn’t
This is a hands-on execution role on a small team. You will do the work yourself, not delegate it. You will own a function with real autonomy, but the President oversees overall strategy and budget. The role is fast-moving and varied, not a purely strategic position or a narrowly focused specialty.
Application questions
- This position is 100% on-site in Johnstown, OH (northeast Columbus) — there is no remote or hybrid option. Where are you currently located, and what would your commute look like?
- Tell us about a car you have personally worked on, modified, raced, or built — what did you do and what did you learn?
- If you were given $150,000 to buy any car you want, what car would you buy and why?
- How many years of professional marketing experience do you have?
- Do you have hands-on experience creating content yourself — shooting photos or video, or editing?
