Marketing Communications Specialist
Job Description
The Marketing Communications Specialist role is a hybrid position based in Rome, Georgia, guiding marketing initiatives across print, digital, events, and web properties. The position leverages AI-enabled workflows to boost efficiency and reduce reliance on external agencies, contributing to growth objectives. Salary ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, with a minimum of one year of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee marketing communications initiatives across print, digital, social, email, video, public relations, and events.
- Plan and maintain the marketing calendar, aligning timelines, priorities, and deliverables.
- Draft and update marketing collateral such as brochures, product literature, presentations, sales tools, trade show assets, and customer communications.
- Support product introductions and go-to-market campaigns through the development of launch materials and sales enablement tools.
- Coordinate trade shows, conferences, client events and exhibitions, including logistics, vendor management, and post-event analysis.
- Collaborate with OE and Aftermarket sales teams to create presentations, customer communications, and marketing support materials.
- Manage relationships with agencies, freelancers, writers, designers, and other external marketing resources.
- Reduce external agency spending by improving internal execution, project management, and AI-enabled workflows.
- Maintain and update website content, blogs, landing pages, and digital assets.
- Contribute to social media planning, publishing, and performance reporting.
- Measure and report campaign performance using CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools.
- Identify opportunities to streamline marketing processes, workflows, and operational efficiency.
- Additional duties may be assigned based on company needs and capabilities.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of marketing communications or related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. At times, due to projects or work assignments, the employee may need to coordinate and direct a team to meet objectives.
Work Environment
The role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Occasionally, exposure to a manufacturing setting with forklift traffic, fumes, noise, and operating equipment may occur.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time role. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional work outside of normal hours, including weekends, may be required to meet customer demands and internal objectives.
Travel
Some overnight travel is expected, with local day travel and overnight trips related to event coordination, training activities, or support of assigned plants and locations.
