Job Description

The Marketing Associate role at Backflow Solutions, Inc (BSI) is a remote position responsible for maintaining email lists, developing content across multiple channels, performing SEO, overseeing social media activity, analyzing performance data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role reports to the Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize contacts, lists, segments, and tags within email marketing platforms.
  • Analyze niche business concepts and create content, copy, and design assets for multiple channels, including email campaigns, blogs, websites, social channels, paid search, event materials, lead-generation assets, electronic documents, and internal communications.
  • SEO work across department websites includes, but is not limited to:
    • Regularly review search terms, keywords, rankings, and analytics to monitor performance and propose improvements.
    • Enhance copy and landing pages to optimize for search engines.
    • Suggest and implement changes to site structure, content, linking, and other factors to improve rankings for target keywords.
    • Monitor current campaign channels and generate reports.
  • Manage social media presence across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop specialized marketing materials and identify new opportunities.
  • Work with the executive team to implement marketing materials and concepts that increase firm exposure within markets and professional organizations.
  • Partner with creative teams, internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors.
  • Provide a weekly update outlining ongoing work and completed tasks.
  • Reports to the Marketing Manager.

Requirements

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud apps, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
  • Ability to work with cloud-based file storage and sharing tools such as Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive.
  • Marketing or graphic design experience: 1 year.
  • Bachelor's degree.
