Job Description

Compass offers an onsite Marketing Advisor role in Los Gatos, CA with a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $80,000 per year. You will contribute in-office to shaping agents' marketing and branding projects from concept to execution while receiving ongoing support and development.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional client service by consulting with real estate agents daily to identify marketing needs, build strategic plans, and help execute initiatives efficiently.
  • Provide guidance and outstanding service to clients to guide their work from start to finish.
  • Learn the Compass advantage and advocate for our platform.
  • Promote the value and application of our products, tools, and programs, both generally and in response to specific marketing needs.
  • Create strategic marketing plans alongside the Compass platform to maximize budgets across branding, print advertising, digital, social, direct mail, video, paid media, and more.
  • Organize and assemble templated creative work such as print ads and brochures, utilizing InDesign.
  • Coordinate between the design team and agents to ensure timely delivery of projects and materials, aligning the Compass brand with agent marketing deliverables.
  • Deliver thoughtful, personalized experiences for clients, including targeted marketing strategies and recognition that enhances relationships.
  • Analyze and optimize clients' marketing plans to inform future strategies and exceed expectations.
  • Collaborate with advertising and media vendors to secure agent ad spend and local Compass branding opportunities.
  • Stay informed about national and local real estate market trends and industry forecasts.
  • Cultivate relationships to foster a sense of community and culture among clients and colleagues.
  • Act as a culture carrier, inspiring others with a constructive approach to creating and implementing change.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of marketing experience.
  • Skilled communicator with strong interpersonal abilities; empathetic relationship-building and natural objection handling.
  • Deep understanding of marketing strategy and planning with the ability to select tactics across multiple channels.
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of accounts while collaborating to drive best practices.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and highly organized approach.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with evolving responsibilities and multiple hats.
  • Passionate about the intersection of marketing and technology and able to articulate its benefits.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign.
  • Prior real estate industry experience is preferred.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $75,000 to $80,000 per year. Base pay is determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience and may vary by market location. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Minimum wage requirements will be met.
