Job Description

Hilton in McLean, Virginia, is seeking a Manager of Content and Lifecycle Talent Marketing to shape recruitment storytelling and engagement programs that attract, retain, and develop Hilton Team Members. This onsite role leads the content strategy for recruitment marketing and reports to the Senior Manager of Recruitment Marketing and Employer Brand, coordinating across channels to move people from awareness to application.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain key talent personas (Early Talent, Veterans, job categories, locations) and ensure messaging aligns with each audience
  • Build email nurture programs that steer candidates from event participation or interest to active consideration
  • Develop and refine content across formats (email, landing pages, long-form content, webinar scripts, partnership toolkits) aligned to persona journeys
  • Plan and manage the content calendar for webinars, partner events, and talent-community communications, including promotion and follow-up
  • Own recruitment marketing activation for national and local partnerships, including event promotion, post-event follow-up emails, and performance tracking
  • Review and enhance job category pages, career-path content, and FAQs to improve discoverability in AI-powered search tools
  • Report on engagement metrics (email opens, webinar attendance, event-to-apply conversions, segment-level application lift) and recommend optimizations

Requirements

  • Six or more years of experience in content marketing, lifecycle marketing, or audience engagement strategy
  • Proven ability to build segmented, persona-driven content strategies across email, web, and event channels
  • Experience designing lifecycle or nurture programs that move audiences from awareness to conversion or application
  • Comfort using performance data (open rates, click-through rates, engagement, conversion metrics) to improve content strategy
  • Experience partnering across marketing, HR, Recruiting, or business teams to align messaging with priorities

What you’ll do during a typical day

  • Define and maintain talent personas (Early Talent, Veterans, job categories, locations) and ensure messaging aligns to each audience

  • Act as the primary owner of recruitment-marketing activation for national and local partnerships, including event promotion and post-event follow-up emails
  • Enhance job category pages, career-path content, and FAQs to improve AI-driven search discoverability
  • Report on engagement performance and recommend optimizations

How you’ll collaborate with others

  • Partner with Recruiting leaders to align engagement priorities
  • Collaborate with recruitment-marketing leads to ensure content supports measurable pipeline outcomes
  • Work with Employer Brand and Content teams to align storytelling with persona strategy
  • Present engagement insights and performance impact to HR and partner stakeholders

Projects you’ll take ownership of

  • Build and maintain a clear persona framework across priority talent segments
  • Develop and oversee structured candidate-nurture plans from first touch through application
  • Lead content execution for webinars, events, and engagement campaigns
  • Manage engagement strategy and activation for national partnerships
  • Improve recruitment content for AI-driven and emerging search platforms
  • Create reporting that tracks how engagement efforts increase applications by segment

What it takes to make the stay

  • Six or more years of experience in content marketing, lifecycle marketing, or audience engagement strategy
  • Experience building segmented, persona-driven content strategies across email, web, and event channels
  • Experience designing lifecycle/nurture programs that move audiences from awareness to conversion/application
  • Experience using performance data to improve content strategy
  • Experience collaborating across marketing, HR, Recruiting, or business teams to align messaging with priorities

It would be useful if you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field
  • Experience applying content and lifecycle strategies within talent acquisition, employer brand, or recruitment-marketing environments
  • Familiarity with CRM, email marketing, or marketing-automation platforms
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and AI/LLM content optimization
  • Experience building structured content hubs or persona-based landing-page pathways
  • Ability to translate audience engagement into measurable pipeline or conversion outcomes
  • Experience presenting strategy and performance insights to senior partners
