Digital Marketing & Social Media Coordinator

Friend & Company Fine Jewelers is looking for a Digital Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to strengthen its digital presence and support the brand experience across channels. Based in New Orleans, this onsite role focuses on keeping the website current, building out social and marketing content, and maintaining responsive customer communication and review management.

You will coordinate day-to-day digital updates and campaign support, working alongside photographers, internal teams, and external partners to ensure content stays accurate, visually polished, and aligned with brand standards.

What you’ll do

• Maintain and update website content, including featured jewelry collections, product photography, landing pages, banners, seasonal promotions, forms, and other digital assets.
• Coordinate with photographers and team members to add new collections while ensuring all website content remains accurate, current, visually appealing, and on-brand.
• Partner with website developers, technology vendors, and outside agencies to resolve website issues, implement improvements, and support SEO and website optimization.
• Manage and grow Friend & Company’s presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar covering jewelry collections, educational content, promotions, community involvement, holidays, and seasonal campaigns.
• Create engaging social and marketing content, coordinating campaigns, giveaways, promotions, special events, and marketing materials that may include digital and print advertising.
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries professionally, collaborating with outside marketing partners when needed.
• Manage customer communication using tools such as Podium, website chat, text messaging, Google Messages, and social inboxes like Facebook Messenger.
• Monitor and respond to online reviews, supporting reputation management and CRM activities using Edge and Podium.
• Support ownership with store events, sponsorships, seasonal promotions, special projects, and initiatives designed to enhance engagement, brand awareness, and the digital experience.

What you bring

• 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, website administration, or a related field.
• High school diploma required.
• An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, advertising, graphic design, or a related field is preferred (relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree).
• Experience managing business social media accounts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other emerging social channels.
• Experience maintaining website content, managing digital assets, and implementing SEO best practices.
• Preferred proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
• Excellent writing, communication, organization, and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience collaborating with photographers, website developers, marketing agencies, and internal teams.
• Plus: experience with Podium, Edge, and CRM platforms or similar customer communication tools.
• Highly desirable: photography, videography, or basic photo editing experience.
• Preferred: luxury retail, jewelry, fashion, or other premium consumer brand experience.

Compensation & benefits

• $50,000–$68,000 per year, based on experience and expertise.
