Job Description

Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ohio Valley is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to lead its online storytelling and audience growth from a hybrid role in Evansville, IN. This position blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, directing a cohesive digital program that raises awareness, drives advocacy and volunteerism, and strengthens philanthropic support. As the organization's primary digital storyteller, you will oversee social media, content creation, paid advertising, email marketing, website updates, and analytics to advance the mission.

Responsibilities

  • Design and run integrated digital campaigns that align with priorities, fundraising initiatives, events, volunteer recruitment, and community awareness. Manage paid advertising across Meta, Google, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other pertinent channels, building audience segments and targeting strategies to maximize reach, engagement, and conversions. Track performance and refine tactics using analytics.
  • Lead day-to-day management of all social media channels, craft a strategic content calendar aligned with campaigns, and develop mission-driven content that grows audiences and strengthens brand awareness. Stay abreast of trends and platform developments, engage with the community, and report on social performance.
  • Produce compelling written content for social, websites, blogs, emails, and digital ads. Gather family stories, volunteer spotlights, donor features, and organizational impact narratives. Create visual and multimedia content, including graphics, photography, videos, and short-form material, ensuring consistency with branding and messaging.
  • Maintain and refresh website content via WordPress, optimizing for user experience, search visibility, and conversions. Plan and execute email marketing campaigns and digital newsletters, and monitor metrics to boost engagement.
  • Use Google Analytics and platform reports to evaluate digital performance, compiling regular insights that inform content strategy and decision-making. Monitor website traffic, advertising outcomes, email metrics, and social analytics to guide improvements.
  • Uphold a consistent organizational voice and visual identity across all digital touchpoints. Support brand modernization efforts, manage digital assets, and champion storytelling excellence across channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, Journalism, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, or communications.
  • Experience handling paid advertising campaigns and digital marketing budgets preferred.
  • Nonprofit marketing experience is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of major platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) and Canva for content development.
  • Experience managing WordPress-based websites and familiarity with Google Analytics.
  • Experience with Bloomerang or similar CRM and email marketing tools.
  • Outstanding copywriting, editing, and storytelling abilities, with strong photography and video production skills.
  • Understanding of digital advertising, audience targeting, and media placement strategies.
  • Excellent organization with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines, and meticulous attention to detail.

Compensation

USD 60,000 - 70,000 per year
