Job Description

Channel Marketing Manager responsible for developing and executing go to market strategies across key distribution channels while driving revenue, margin, and brand growth.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the conduit between sales, ecommerce, finance, product management, and marketing to meet sales goals and strategic objectives
  • Apply deep insights into market dynamics, consumer behavior, customer strategies, and channel competitive assessments to identify opportunities, gaps, and risks
  • Own the go to market strategy across channels including mass market, office superstore, dealer, wholesale/2 step, industrial STAFDA, and home center
  • Oversee pricing structures and policies across assigned accounts to prevent channel price conflicts
  • Support development and execution of customer specific promotional plans across key accounts to grow sales and market share
  • Assist annual and seasonal promotional planning aligned to key selling periods such as tradeshow cycles, back to school, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Prime Day, Veteran's Day, Black Friday/Cyber Monday, and holiday seasons
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Sales on forecasting and demand planning to deliver world class service levels
  • Continuously analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize revenue and profitability
  • Lead the development of retail merchandising strategies that maximize product visibility, shopper engagement, and shelf conversions
  • Assist in designing and executing point of sale materials and promotions including product displays, quarter pallets, signage, end cap displays, side wing displays, and secondary placements tailored to each retailer environment
  • Develop planogram recommendations and shelf standards that reflect category best practices and position Goods iQ brands as the preferred consumer choice
  • Monitor in store execution quality across accounts and establish feedback loops to drive continuous improvement
  • Track and analyze shelf level conversion data to refine merchandising strategy, optimize placement, and remove underperforming displays
  • Monitor KPIs such as sales, margin, conversion, traffic, and ROAS and translate into actionable insights for business strategy across channels
  • Build and maintain dashboards that provide real time visibility into channel health
  • Collaborate with all key functions to ensure organization alignment to serve channel partners and set industry standard for service levels and scorecard performance
  • Serve as the central point of contact for channel performance and channel specific strategic initiatives
  • Drive accountability through consistent reporting and performance tracking
  • Identify inefficiencies proactively and implement solutions that improve execution
  • Support building a channel strategy and driving its execution
  • Apply strong commercial instincts to pricing, promotions, and content to drive revenue
  • Demonstrate advanced data analysis skills using AI, Excel, and Power BI
  • Leverage experience with Vendor Central, Seller Central, Walmart Retail Link, and similar platforms
  • Translate complex data sets into clear, executive-ready narratives
  • Maintain a strong sense of accountability and ownership of outcomes
  • Lead cross functional initiatives
  • Thrive in fast moving environments with shifting priorities and ambiguity
  • Act as a reliable, proactive team member who goes above and beyond to get the job done
  • Communicate clearly and confidently to keep stakeholders informed and engaged
  • Demonstrate passion for retail omnichannel, ecommerce, and the consumer goods category

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in channel marketing, retail omnichannel, or ecommerce
  • Understanding of distribution channels, particularly retail/omni and ecommerce
  • Proven record of driving revenue growth and improving channel performance
  • Knowledge of pricing structures, promotions, and digital shelf optimization
  • Experience with Vendor Central, Seller Central, Walmart Retail Link, or equivalent platforms
  • Advanced Excel, AI, and data analysis skills; experience with business intelligence and reporting tools
  • Experience with digital shelf tools such as Salsify; Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud is a strong plus
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Military experience is a strong plus

  • Work arrangement: Hybrid — Monday to Thursday in office, Friday remote
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Compensation: $55,000 – $75,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
