Job Description

The Account Manager at Lamark Media coordinates client relationships, drives strategic initiatives, and oversees project delivery to achieve KPIs and maximize profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead executive-level client sessions and collaborate across departments to advance strategic initiatives.
  • Create and implement marketing programs that strengthen client brands and support organic growth.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the client's business, industry, and market trends to proactively identify opportunities.
  • Anticipate client needs and provide strategic, solution-oriented recommendations.
  • Define, execute, and optimize client scopes of work to ensure alignment with goals and KPIs.
  • Shape and refine client-facing work, including strategic presentations, creative briefs, and campaign plans.
  • Prepare comprehensive conference notes and impactful materials for client meetings.
  • Understand what motivates the client personally, professionally, and institutionally.
  • Own client relationships and contribute strategic value beyond day-to-day tactics, guiding the communications roadmap.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and expansion of the client relationship.
  • Develop account plans and collaborate with the team to deliver them.
  • In coordination with others, cultivate a portfolio of new business efforts.
  • Educate clients on new offerings and trends that could influence their business.
  • Lead client-specific projects, ensuring quality, performance, and financial optimization throughout engagements.
  • Provide strategic insights and direction to drive client success in partnership with internal teams.
  • Support Account Directors on select accounts as needed, assisting with key projects and client initiatives.
  • Coordinate and lead client and agency meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment on objectives.
  • Oversee the development and submission of proposals, concepts, and budgets for client approval.
  • Monitor day-to-day project flow with internal departments to maintain efficiency and execution excellence.
  • Manage billing, financial reconciliation, and revenue tracking to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Maintain up-to-date internal client documentation and information-sharing archives.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of professional experience in account management and client service; agency experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, including how lead generation and ecommerce campaigns operate across channels such as Paid Search, Paid Social, Organic Search, Programmatic Display, CTV, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, capable of clearly and persuasively conveying ideas, strategies, and results to clients.
  • Excellent attention to detail with high organization, reliability, accountability, and self-motivation to keep initiatives on schedule.
