Job Description
Snowy Mountain Rifles is seeking a Website/Marketing Manager to steer its WordPress-based e-commerce, SEO, and digital strategy within the hunting, firearms, and outdoor space. This onsite role in Hamilton, Montana blends hands-on marketing leadership with photography and videography to craft authentic brand stories across channels and drive traffic, conversions, and sales.

USD 25 - 35 per hour
Experience
- Minimum Experience: 3 years
- Marketing experience: 5 years (Required)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily management of the WordPress-based e-commerce site, keeping product listings current and the platform functioning smoothly
- Maintain product listings, descriptions, SEO, promotions, and category organization
- Collaborate with internal teams on product launches, inventory updates, and user experience improvements
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to drive traffic, conversions, and sales
- Optimize website content and structure for organic search rankings
- Utilize tools to monitor performance and inform optimization
- Create and manage digital and print marketing assets including ads, brochures, email campaigns, banners, and packaging
- Partner with the Media Specialist on brand and campaign photography and videography; editing skills are a strong bonus
- Work with photographers, content creators, and ambassadors to develop authentic brand stories
- Manage the Media Specialist to maintain social media calendars and content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
- Monitor engagement and adapt strategies to grow community and brand reach
- Design and deploy email campaigns for product updates, events, and promotions
- Design or coordinate materials for trade shows, in-store signage, catalogs, and advertisements
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital and physical assets
- Leverage knowledge of the hunting, firearms, and long-range shooting industry to inform strategies
- Collaborate with influencers, pro staff, and media contacts to boost brand visibility
- Stay current with marketing trends in the outdoor space
- Capture still images and videos of finished and in-production products, edit, and deploy content across social media and the website
- Having access to camera gear is a strong plus; in-house equipment is available
- Experience with photo and video editing is advantageous
- Travel frequently during the year to trade shows, hunts, shooting schools, and events (10-30+ days annually) to capture content and engage audiences
- Assist with customer sales and inquiries in-house and during travel as needed, though this is not a sales-focused role
Requirements
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Hamilton, MT (in-person role)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be comfortable working around firearms and in a firearm-manufacturing environment
- Travel to hunts, events, and trade shows
