Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a segment-focused marketing plan aligned with the segment strategy and growth targets
- Craft positioning and a differentiated value proposition across generation, grid, distribution, and digital ecosystems
- Create persona-based messaging for utilities, developers, EPCs, regulators, CTOs, and asset owners
- Collaborate with segment leadership, sales, and offerings to align strategy, pipeline priorities, and marketing execution
- Monitor market trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive positioning to refine plans
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns focused on priority segment opportunities
- Optimize the channel mix including digital, ABM, events, and partner channels to maximize results
- Build an end-to-end narrative spanning Power systems, Grid automation, Digital, and Software (AVEVA, ETAP)
- Ensure consistency across touchpoints such as sales enablement, campaign messages, executive communications, events, and PR
- Develop thought leadership aligned to industry shifts like grid constraints, electrification, and AI-driven load demand
- Support executive visibility through keynotes, panels, media engagements, and strategic speaking roles
- Collaborate with PR, analyst relations, and public affairs to elevate Schneider’s voice in the market
- Create field-ready assets such as segment storytelling decks, strategic account kits, and value proposition frameworks
- Own marketing performance metrics and reporting dashboards
- Oversee budget allocation across priority plays and campaigns
- Coordinate with internal teams and agencies to ensure quality execution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in marketing, Communications, Engineering, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
- 8+ years in B2B marketing within energy, power, or industrial sectors
- Strong understanding of the North American power and grid ecosystem
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization
- Ability to translate market and customer needs into actionable marketing plans
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence executives, lead teams, and collaborate cross-functionally
- Exceptional writing, storytelling, and content strategy skills
- Data-driven mindset with experience managing marketing KPIs and reporting
- Comfortable with approximately 25% North American travel for events, team engagement, and strategic meetings
