Job Description

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Technical, to design and lead a centralized marketing experimentation program for Devices and Services. This onsite role in Seattle, WA offers a salary range of USD 151,200 to 204,600 per year and focuses on shaping the vision, strategy, and end-to-end execution across global markets and multiple product lines. The position blends product leadership with analytics to translate experiments into actionable insights that influence growth and priority setting.

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision, guiding principles, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for centralized marketing experimentation
  • Balance near-term execution with a long-term rollout, establishing experimentation as a core capability for Devices & Services
  • Collaborate with product line marketers across paid search, display, social, video, TV, and owned media to design statistically rigorous randomized controlled trials
  • Own global prioritization, design quality, and execution standards for experiments
  • Work with economists to define valid RCTs, create templates, develop power calculation guidelines, and set quality bars
  • Build relationships with marketing leaders to demonstrate the value of experimentation
  • Develop self-service tools that enable marketing teams to set up experiments, configure randomization logic, and launch tests across platforms
  • Implement pre-flight validation to prevent common design mistakes
  • Establish monitoring systems to track progress, surface data quality issues, and alert when tests reach statistical significance
  • Produce insights reports that summarize results, validate model predictions, and offer optimization recommendations
  • Partner with the Incrementality Modeling and Spend Optimization team to align experiment results with incrementality models
  • Collaborate with the Data Infrastructure team to ensure experiment data flows into pipelines and reporting
  • Translate complex statistical concepts into actionable product requirements
  • Track metrics around experiment velocity, quality, and impact
  • Lead regular business reviews with senior leadership to report progress and escalate blockers
  • Manage resource planning and prioritization, balancing new capabilities with maintaining existing systems
  • Naviagte technical complexity and cross-functional dependencies across multiple workstreams amid competing stakeholder priorities

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience
  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with feature delivery and evaluating tradeoffs for a product
  • Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions about technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience representing and advocating for diverse customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Basic Qualifications
