Sr. Marketing Specialist

Senior Marketing Specialist role based in Southfield, Michigan, onsite, supporting Barton Malow Company’s work acquisition through credentials, qualifications, proposals, and other pursuit-related marketing deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain resumes, boilerplate content, project descriptions, and imagery in internal databases, writing customized content as needed.
• Collaborate with project delivery teams and business partners to develop pursuit collateral such as credentials, proposals, and presentations tailored to specific client opportunities.
• Continuously capture relevant content from our people and projects through site visits, interviews, and photography/video for submissions and resources.
• Coordinate with the MarCom team on strategic initiatives, planning, and client-facing creative requests; assist with event planning, production, and execution.
• Ensure geographies and markets are well represented in internal and external communications, including social media, websites, intranet, and leadership updates.
• Partner with stakeholders across departments and business units to support internal and external efforts, ensuring timely input, accurate content, and consistent messaging across materials.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, with additional experience in Photoshop and Illustrator considered a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in document design and layout.
• Proven ability to develop and coordinate RFQ/RFP responses.
• Ability to edit content for quality, accuracy, and readability.
• Photography and videography skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of content management systems.
• Excellent time management and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain consistency across materials.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 4+ years of marketing experience in the AEC industry; without a degree, 6+ years of relevant AEC experience.
