Graphic Design & Marketing Specialist
Job Description
This hybrid role combines graphic design and marketing responsibilities to create and distribute sales collateral, promotional tools, and marketing materials. You will help support ASB sales associates, maintain brand standards, and contribute to internal branding, communications/PR, social media strategy, and event content production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design print and digital content and tools that enable sales associates to market to end customers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop new ideas and build on existing marketing initiatives.
- Maintain ASB brand standards across marketing and communications deliverables.
- Write, proof, and finalize collateral and copy for case studies, social media posts, and other marketing materials.
- Coordinate with team members and vendor partners to merchandise and source product collections for key marketing and event initiatives.
- Coordinate, shoot, and edit photos of products and people at ASB major events and as needed for additional projects or requests.
- Identify market trends to coordinate, shoot, and edit customer-friendly video content for sharing across social platforms.
- Manage large projects by coordinating with other departments and defining detailed project outlines to meet established deadlines.
- Support internal branding updates when requested, including design and flow changes for the company website.
- Support the Communications & PR Specialist with social media strategy, creating and editing communications templates and other graphic assets.
- Generate ideas, create content, and execute rollout of social media strategy to expand audience reach.
- Manage products, inventory levels, and product details within ASB’s Associate Store.
- Consult with sales associates to support marketing strategy development and updates, including website and social content planning.
- Present marketing updates, overviews, and trainings to ASB salespeople and suppliers.
- Research, present, and implement human-centered AI strategies to streamline internal processes, focused on workflow improvements rather than standalone content creation.
- Complete multi-day and/or overnight travel as needed (2 to 4 times per year) to attend ASB conferences and supplier tradeshows.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, plus one to two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Desired: a good understanding of marketing and branding.
- Demonstrated creativity, self-direction, and motivation.
- Ability to prioritize, manage, and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong planning and organizing skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write correspondence and marketing copy, and to speak effectively before groups of Sales Associates, leadership, or fellow team members.
- Accuracy in spelling and grammar.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of concrete variables where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret instructions and training provided in written, oral, video, diagram, or schedule formats.
- Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Acrobat Professional.
- Desired: working knowledge of Dreamweaver, Flash, After Effects (or similar), InDesign, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Desired: working knowledge of photography.
- Specific vision abilities required, including close vision and color vision.

Work Location and Schedule
Location: Glenwood, MN (hybrid). Travel: 2 to 4 times per year for conferences and supplier tradeshows.
Compensation
Salary: USD 48,000 to 62,000 per year.
