Social Media Program Manager - Strategic Planning & Marketing - Full Time
Job Description
The Guthrie Clinic is seeking a Social Media Program Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute external social media initiatives, monitor sentiment, and foster online community growth across platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with Guthrie Clinic marketing and communications goals, including objective setting, audience targeting, and platform selection.
- Content Creation and Management: Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content for multiple platforms, including writing, editing, curating, and guiding multimedia production such as videos, infographics, and podcasts.
- Analytics and Reporting: Leverage analytics tools to measure campaign performance and deliver regular insights to senior leadership, highlighting key metrics, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Crisis Management: Develop crisis communication plans for social channels, monitor for issues, respond to negative feedback, and safeguard the organization’s online reputation during crises.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Partner with marketing, public relations, customer service, and IT to ensure integrated social media efforts, while mentoring junior staff and other teams involved in social activities.
- Innovation and Trend Analysis: Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices, identifying new opportunities to engage audiences and enhance the Clinic’s presence.
- Community Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with influencers, partners, and stakeholders, and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Training and Development: Lead training sessions and workshops on social media practices, tools, and strategies, promoting continuous learning across the organization.
- Budget Management: Plan and manage the social media budget, allocate resources efficiently, and maximize return on investment.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure all social media activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience in social media, marketing, or communications.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- If no degree, at least five years of experience in health care marketing, graphic design, or clinical administrative support.

- Coordinate strategic development of tools for online community building with patients; participate in evaluating solutions to help develop Guthrie Clinic’s online communities.
