Job Description
Coury Hospitality is hiring a Marketing Manager to develop and deliver brand-focused marketing plans onsite in Dallas, TX.
Responsibilities
- Serve on the property leadership team.
- Develop, manage, and execute marketing plans with S.M.A.R.T. goals for assigned brand(s).
- Manage property marketing budgets.
- Provide routine reporting on overall marketing performance and progress.
- Maintain digital asset databases, including upkeep of releases, images, videos, and brand assets.
- Act as a point of contact for photo shoots.
- Serve as an on-property brand ambassador, ensuring brand items are accurate and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Ideate guest experiences alongside the operations team.
- Attend local educational and networking events to increase knowledge, skills, and brand awareness.
- Create and implement social media game plans using industry research, digital benchmarking, target audience identification, and goal setting.
- Develop and execute plans to grow each brand’s online presence.
- Create high-quality content calendars focused on follower engagement and action.
- Connect with industry professionals and micro-influencers via social channels to build a strong network.
- Manage community engagement by responding to messages, comments, mentions, reviews, and other follower interactions.
- Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a personable way to build brand loyalty and trust.
- Report routinely on social media game plans and goals; compile management takeaways with results and a continuous growth plan.
- Analyze social media KPIs and adjust social strategies as needed.
- Stay current on trends across social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
- Capture photography and video content suitable for social media.
- Maintain online digital presence through ongoing updates to imagery and business information.
- Respond to online reviews as needed.
- Create and deploy newsletters routinely.
- Assist with distributing outlet menus online.
- Conduct routine online audits to keep information up to date.
- Develop and execute social media paid campaigns designed to maximize ROI.
- Develop and manage paid advertising campaigns.
- Lead on-site activations as the marketing champion, including design and distribution of marketing materials (physical and digital).
- Manage design project workflows and implementation of on-site marketing touchpoints such as brand collateral and marketing materials.
- Cultivate and expand local partnerships through events, sponsorships, giveaways, and related efforts.
- Develop and expand media and influencer outreach and partnership efforts with the local Convention and Visitors Bureau when possible.
- Lead and coordinate public relations efforts.
- Leverage available brand-affiliated marketing support resources.
- Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the manager.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of experience in Communications, Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Computer literate; comfortable with Outlook, Microsoft tools, and design tools such as Canva and Adobe
- Understanding of social media KPIs and how they apply to overall strategy.
- Knowledge of relevant social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube.
- Creative capability to capture quality photography and video content, plus ability to make minor edits.
- Performs job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; able to learn new tools quickly.
- Exceptional communication skills across verbal, written, and visual formats.
- Maintain personal social media profiles in a professional manner.
- Previous experience managing business social media profiles.
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of online marketing and familiarity with major marketing channels.
