Job Description

The Guthrie Clinic is seeking a Social Media Program Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute external social media initiatives, monitor sentiment, and foster online community growth across platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with Guthrie Clinic marketing and communications goals, including objective setting, audience targeting, and platform selection.
Content Creation and Management: Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content for multiple platforms, including writing, editing, curating, and guiding multimedia production such as videos, infographics, and podcasts.
Analytics and Reporting: Leverage analytics tools to measure campaign performance and deliver regular insights to senior leadership, highlighting key metrics, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Crisis Management: Develop crisis communication plans for social channels, monitor for issues, respond to negative feedback, and safeguard the organization’s online reputation during crises.
Collaboration and Leadership: Partner with marketing, public relations, customer service, and IT to ensure integrated social media efforts, while mentoring junior staff and other teams involved in social activities.
Innovation and Trend Analysis: Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices, identifying new opportunities to engage audiences and enhance the Clinic’s presence.
Community Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with influencers, partners, and stakeholders, and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
Training and Development: Lead training sessions and workshops on social media practices, tools, and strategies, promoting continuous learning across the organization.
Budget Management: Plan and manage the social media budget, allocate resources efficiently, and maximize return on investment.
Compliance and Governance: Ensure all social media activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Requirements

Minimum five years of experience in social media, marketing, or communications.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
If no degree, at least five years of experience in health care marketing, graphic design, or clinical administrative support.
