Job Description
The Senior Partner Programs Marketing Manager at Sage will help power the Sage Intacct Advisory Practice partner program engine across North America. This role is primarily internal-facing, focused on building repeatable programs that support partner onboarding, communications, MDF-related activity, reporting, and day-to-day program operations. The goal is to connect partner engagement to pipeline, revenue, and long-term partner growth for CPA firms and related ecosystems.
Based in Austin, TX on a hybrid schedule, you will manage partner marketing programs end-to-end, collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors, and continuously refine program strategy using performance data and feedback.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and continuously improve Sage Intacct Advisory Practice programs for CPA firms, BPOs, fractional CFO firms, and Client Advisory Services practices.
- Create repeatable programs that support advisory partners in understanding, adopting, using, and recommending Sage Intacct as part of their practice growth strategy.
- Oversee partner entry, onboarding, participation, communications, and program engagement to deliver a consistent partner experience.
- Support the creation, launch, and measurement of industry-led partner programs and campaigns across partner portal, email, webinar, event, and communication channels.
- Manage and optimize partner marketing programs, including MDF-related activity, program requirements, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Partner with Partner Marketing Managers, campaign teams, content teams, and partner-facing stakeholders to support with- and through-partner execution for advisory-focused programs.
- Produce scalable program materials, campaign toolkits, communications, and enablement resources for Partner Marketing Managers and partner-facing teams.
- Ensure programs align to partner engagement, pipeline development, revenue objectives, and Sage Intacct Advisory business priorities.
- Handle program operations, including budgets, contracts, timelines, vendors, agencies, communications, reporting, and program reconciliation.
- Identify, negotiate with, and manage external vendors supporting Sage Intacct Advisory Practice programs.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders, vendors, agencies, and partner-facing teams to keep programs on time, within budget, and aligned to Sage standards.
- Establish scalable processes, governance, and best practices to improve operational efficiency while maintaining a high-quality partner experience.
- Track program performance, partner participation, campaign effectiveness, MDF activity, and partner engagement.
- Collect feedback from internal teams, partner-facing stakeholders, vendors, and program participants to identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on program performance, risks, learnings, and recommendations.
- Use data and feedback to refine programs over time and increase program impact.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS partner programs, channel marketing, partner marketing, marketing programs, or indirect channel programs.
- Experience supporting software partners and partner ecosystems such as value-added resellers, CPA firms, accounting firms, advisory firms, BPOs, and fractional CFO firms (or similar).
- Strong program management skills, including budget management, vendor management, timelines, stakeholder coordination, and program reporting.
- Understanding of with- and through-partner marketing, MDF, partner communications, campaign execution, lead flow, and partner engagement.
- Strong business acumen connecting program strategy to pipeline development, partner participation, revenue objectives, and partner growth.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Partner Marketing, Partner Sales, content, campaigns, operations, vendors, agencies, and external partner stakeholders.
- Clear communication skills to turn ambiguous objectives into structured, repeatable, measurable programs and processes.
- Knowledge of accounting, financial management software, ERP, CPA firms, or Client Advisory Services is strongly preferred.
