Job Description

Senior Marketing Specialist at CBIZ in Washington, DC (onsite) coordinates events, sponsorships and webinars, proposals, CRM and digital marketing, plus regional marketing and business development support.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate off-site sponsorship events and trade shows, handling booth setup, collateral, promotional items and related logistics.
  • Plan and execute in-person and virtual client, prospect, and referral-source events, including invitations, RSVP management, logistics, and speaker materials.
  • Enter all event attendees and activities into Salesforce and align them with nurture campaigns and follow-up to drive lead conversion.
  • Collaborate with executive sponsors on event logistics, run of show, and targeting.
  • Coordinate post-event feedback collection and metrics reporting.
  • Regional proposal support: review, interpret, and develop responses for RFPs, guiding the process from kickoff to final submission.
  • Draft, edit, and format persuasive proposals, statements of qualifications, presentations, and pursuit materials; maintain the Mid-Atlantic proposal library with current templates, case studies, and credentials.
  • Collaborate with the broader proposal team, offshore resources, and business partners to produce polished final deliverables; Not-for-Profit and/or Government RFP experience is a plus; maintain team bios and industry experience as needed.
  • Attend industry group meetings and assist the regional marketing lead as needed.
  • Assist with internal meeting planning, materials, content tracking, and event coordination.
  • Support campaign and event planning specific to the assigned industry.
  • CRM role: may assist with Salesforce; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Digital marketing: create marketing emails and digital campaigns in Pardot, with training provided.
  • Assist with setting up emails, landing pages, and contact lists.
  • Proactively communicate and expand current digital marketing campaigns to the team.
  • Pull engagement metrics for social, email, or webinar campaigns.
  • Regional Marketing and Business Development Support: manage project intake tracking in Smartsheet and assist with project coordination with the CoE.
  • Document processes, track proposal metrics such as win rates, update templates, and identify operational improvements to enhance efficiency and impact; maintain ongoing updates.
  • Maintain a current repository of professional bios and headshots.
  • Help maintain Teams channel, shared resources, and content and file management.
  • Organize internal documents and maintain marketing collateral libraries, updating as needed.
  • Tools and platforms: maintain fluency in Salesforce, Pardot, Smartsheet and Project Management Platforms, and pursue training to stay current.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a subject matter expert.
  • Must maintain current licenses and certifications relevant to the field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication across all organizational levels, internal and external.
  • Effective customer service skills.
  • Proficient with applicable technology.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
