Sales & Marketing Specialist
Job Description
Sales & Marketing Specialist supporting Employee Benefits and Property & Casualty sales teams, leveraging Microsoft Dynamics CRM to support sales, generate reports, and drive marketing initiatives; hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days from home) based in USI's Glen Allen or Norfolk offices, with a salary range of USD 65,000ā68,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Support Employee Benefits and Property & Casualty sales management teams.
- Coordinate and prepare management reports for sales meetings.
- Participate in corporate new business calls, stewardship triage calls, and leadership calls.
- Ensure opportunity stages and forecast accuracy.
- Provide CRM training for newly hired or acquired sales associates.
- Complete quality opportunity assignments for newly hired or acquired sales personnel.
- Manage and maintain the Microsoft Dynamics CRM system to ensure data accuracy.
- Merge duplicate records, reassign opportunities from terminated associates, and process data-management requests.
- Verify that Opportunity Stage aligns with recorded appointments and wins.
- Confirm new business wins in CRM align with the agency management system.
- Track all initiatives within the CRM.
- Serve as a CRM subject-matter expert and provide updates to sales associates.
- Oversee procedural changes, workflow development, and lead-management enhancements.
- Compile and generate a range of sales and management reports, including New/Lost business, Cross Sell, Risk Assessment, Referral, PEAK, and Stewardship metrics.
- Research existing and prospective clients to support sales efforts.
- Prepare presentations and supporting sales materials.
- Maintain consistency of USI collateral materials with branding and marketing messaging.
- Execute office marketing strategies to create value for customers and prospects, driving sales.
- Provide pre-event and post-event seminar strategies and webinar support.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience providing sales and/or marketing support at the executive level.
- Administrative and insurance experience preferred.
- Proven ability to manage projects and enforce procedures.
- Technical ability and experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred.
- Experience with other CRM systems is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Organized self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.
- Adaptability to immediate needs of sales associates and management.
- Detail-oriented with strong diagnostic and issue-resolution skills.
