Job Description
Lead product vision and delivery for digital marketing analytics and consumer insights across Danone’s measurement and insight ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Own product vision, backlog, prioritization logic, and expected value for Marketing Category & Insights products.
- Prioritize features, defects, enablers, and enhancements using business value, risk, dependencies, compliance needs, and delivery capacity.
- Ensure user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria are clear to support efficient, high-quality squad delivery.
- Lead product discovery and delivery iteratively and adaptively to keep the squad focused on the most valuable outcomes.
- Validate releases against expected business outcomes and support rollout/adoption after deployment.
- Define and maintain the domain roadmap aligned to business priorities, compliance requirements, and technical dependencies.
- Convert strategic goals into phased increments, MVPs, enhancements, and foundational enablers.
- Evaluate solution options with the squad and partners, balancing reuse, scalability, speed-to-value, and sustainability.
- Ensure product design covers process, tagging, measurement, reporting, dashboarding, privacy, and adoption considerations.
- Act as the primary product counterpart for stakeholders across Marketing, eCommerce, Media, Consumer Care, Privacy/Legal, Data, and IT.
- Incorporate user pain points and business priorities into clear product direction.
- Manage competing priorities and align stakeholders through transparent trade-offs and roadmap communication.
- Lead governance discussions for scope, priorities, dependencies, adoption, and expected value realization.
- Own product capabilities for digital measurement strategy, tagging governance, KPI standardization, dashboarding, and consumer journey analytics.
- Ensure support for SEO insight requirements, D2C and eCommerce behavioral data capture, and contact center insight generation.
- Govern consent-aware data collection and cookie-management-related requirements with relevant stakeholders.
- Translate core processes into scalable product capabilities with clear ownership, measurable outcomes, and sustainable operating practices.
- Own product-level quality expectations for tagging, tracking, dashboards, KPI consistency, and reporting reliability.
- Oversee issue prioritization, defect resolution, and root-cause analysis for product incidents and data gaps.
- Ensure governance of KPI definitions, business rules, measurement frameworks, access considerations, and product usage indicators.
- Work with technical teams to ensure data flow integrity across analytics platforms, dashboards, CMS environments, and downstream insight layers.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve usability, scalability, standardization, and value realization.
- Promote experimentation, learning loops, pilot use cases, and KPI-led reviews to strengthen outcomes.
- Drive consistent documentation and product governance practices across releases and stakeholders.
- Track and communicate outcome indicators including adoption, usage, data quality, time-to-insight, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in digital analytics, martech, data, or digital product environments.
- Strong agile mastery for product delivery, backlog ownership, prioritization, and user story governance.
- Strong understanding of Google Analytics 4 and digital measurement frameworks (events, funnels, attribution considerations, KPI design).
- Strong familiarity with Google Tag Manager and/or Tag Commander / Commanders Act for tagging strategy, taxonomy governance, and scalable implementation models.
- Experience translating reporting needs into dashboard requirements using Power BI or tools such as Looker Studio or Tableau.
- Understanding of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Digital Asset Manager (DAM) as relevant platforms affecting content structure and measurement.
- Familiarity with Salsify or similar product information environments influencing eCommerce experience and performance analytics.
- Strong command of Jira, Confluence, and other product documentation and roadmap tools.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing analytics, campaign measurement, website behavior analysis, tagging governance, and insight generation.
- Good understanding of SEO-related metrics, discoverability performance, and traffic quality analysis.
- Experience with D2C and eCommerce consumer journey measurement and commercial performance visibility.
- Understanding of cookies, consent management, and privacy-aware data collection constraints.
- Ability to connect analytics outputs with growth, optimization, and commercial decision-making.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end analytics ecosystems from data capture through reporting and business consumption.
- Ability to define KPI frameworks, measurement standards, dashboard logic, and reporting consistency rules.
- Familiarity with integrations across CMS, tagging, dashboards, analytics tools, and downstream data environments.
- Ability to partner with data, engineering, and analytics teams on data structure, availability, and quality.
- English fluency is mandatory.
- Spanish is highly preferred/required depending on market scope.
- Portuguese is a plus.
- Strong product mindset, business acumen, and ability to make trade-off decisions.

Position Purpose

Context of the Area
- Marketing Category & Insights delivers IT & Data capabilities enabling measurement, visibility, and optimization of digital consumer and marketing performance.
- Scope includes web analytics, SEO, tagging, cookies and consent management, consumer behavioral data from D2C and eCommerce, dashboarding, consumer tracking, and contact center analytics.
- Roadmap must evolve the ecosystem through coherent planning, trusted data capture, sustainable product design, and adoption by business teams.
Hybrid Work Expectations
- Collaboration with key stakeholders in Danone Hubs (White Plains, NY or Louisville, CO).
- Option to work from home on a schedule agreed with your supervisor.
- Expected to regularly report to your assigned office location at least 3 days per week.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Engineering, Analytics, Data, or a related field.
- Typically 5+ years of experience in product, digital, analytics, martech, or related technology roles.
- Customer-facing and cross-functional business partnering experience is preferred.
