Job Description

Modus Closing is seeking a Marketing Specialist, internally known as a Marketing Advisor, to guide agents through branding and marketing projects from concept to execution. This onsite role in Southlake, Texas (with Frisco noted in the posting) collaborates with design and marketing stakeholders to translate strategy into action and drive client outcomes. The position focuses on project management, strategic support, and coordination across teams to deliver cohesive campaigns for real estate professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional client service by consulting with customers daily to identify marketing needs, craft strategic plans, and execute initiatives efficiently.
  • Provide guidance and white-glove service to clients, ensuring a high level of support at every stage.
  • Learn the Compass advantage and advocate for the platform across customer engagements.
  • Understand and promote the value of Compass products, tools, and programs in general terms and in response to specific marketing needs.
  • Develop strategic marketing plans using the Compass platform to maximize budget effectiveness across branding, print, digital, social, direct mail, video, and paid media.
  • Organize and assemble templated creative work such as print ads and brochures using InDesign to support campaigns.
  • Coordinate between the company’s design team and agents to manage larger projects and materials, ensuring alignment with the Compass brand and agents’ marketing deliverables.
  • Create memorable client experiences through personalized touches and proactive marketing strategy recommendations.
  • Analyze and refine customers’ marketing plans to inform future strategies and exceed agent expectations.
  • Collaborate with advertising and media vendors to secure agent advertising spend, budget allocations, and opportunities for the local Compass brand.
  • Stay informed on national and local real estate market trends and industry forecasts.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships to foster a sense of community and culture.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of marketing experience.
  • Skilled communicator with strong interpersonal abilities; relationship-building with empathy and constructive objection handling comes naturally.
  • Deep understanding of marketing strategy and planning, with the ability to select effective tactics across multiple channels.
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently, owning your accounts while collaborating within a team to share best practices.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and highly organized approach.
  • Comfort with a fast-paced environment, evolving responsibilities, and wearing multiple hats.
  • Passion for the intersection of marketing and technology and the ability to articulate its benefits.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign.
  • Prior real estate industry experience is preferred.
