Job Description
The Marketing Manager will lead The Southern Gem's promotional efforts across North Alabama showrooms, guiding brand stewardship, content creation, social media management, and showroom and event marketing for a luxury interior design brand. This onsite role is based in Alabama, with regular travel between showroom locations and affiliated businesses throughout the region, and the compensation is USD 25 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Uphold and elevate the luxury brand across all marketing channels.
- Ensure consistent messaging, photography, graphics, and brand voice across platforms.
- Craft marketing plans to boost brand recognition throughout North Alabama.
- Capture photography and video of products, showrooms, installations, and design projects.
- Produce engaging short-form videos and reels for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms.
- Create high-quality graphics, advertisements, and promotional materials.
- Plan seasonal campaigns, product launches, and showroom promotions.
- Oversee daily social media content across all company platforms.
- Write engaging captions, blogs, and email campaigns.
- Schedule and publish content in line with the marketing calendar.
- Monitor analytics and adjust strategies to improve engagement and reach.
- Stay current with social media trends and platform updates.
- Update website content with new products, promotions, events, and design services.
- Enhance search visibility by optimizing online listings and digital presence.
- Support digital advertising campaigns across Google and Meta platforms.
- Regular travel across North Alabama to showroom locations and affiliated businesses.
- Generate content at showroom events, installations, partnerships, and special promotions.
- Lead marketing efforts for grand openings, educational events, workshops, and client appreciation activities.
- Assist with planning and promotion of community outreach initiatives.
- Collaborate with ownership, designers, sales teams, and management to develop marketing initiatives.
- Highlight bespoke projects, client transformations, and new arrivals.
- Support recruitment marketing through employer branding and hiring campaigns when needed.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience managing business social media accounts.
- Strong photography and videography skills.
- Experience creating reels and short-form video content.
- Excellent copywriting and communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Meta Business Suite, Google Business Profile, email marketing platforms, and website management.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently while handling multiple projects and deadlines.
