Job Description

The Marketing Director, AI and Digital Growth leads the marketing function for Golden Rule Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical, a multi-brand home services organization. This onsite role in North Salt Lake, Utah, reports to the CEO and centers on AI-powered growth, strategic planning, and analytics across the Golden Rule PHCE brands. The position focuses on demand generation, brand stewardship, and cross-brand expansion through advanced marketing tech.

Responsibilities

  • Drive demand generation across three brands—Golden Rule PHCE, River City Heating and Cooling, and Cornerstone Roofing & Exteriors—leveraging Google Ads, SEO, local search, CTV, and exploring new channels.
  • Own the AI marketing stack, including Avoca AI for voice, Claude for operational intelligence, a custom analytics dashboard, and ServiceTitan for the full service lifecycle; apply daily and extend capabilities.
  • Lead market growth initiatives to expand market share across existing markets while key competitors lose ground.
  • Oversee brand and reputation management through Google Business Profile optimization, a structured review strategy (targeting high ratings across thousands of reviews), and sustained community presence in each market.
  • Develop the marketing team in collaboration with the Marketing Manager and Data Lead to support the company’s growth trajectory.
  • Ensure end-to-end customer communication is optimized at every stage of the journey.
  • Grow and retain the Gold Club service partner program, refining the customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Lead AI-driven content creation and automation, producing hands-on content and training the team to do the same, with rapid cycles to generate demand calls and complete system checks and inspections for a three-day call board.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, including at least 2 years overseeing a full marketing function end-to-end (strategy and budget).
  • Proven success building and scaling multi-channel paid acquisition (Google Ads and beyond), managing monthly budgets of $50K+.
  • Strong marketing analytics capability to read a funnel, identify conversion gaps, implement fixes proactively, and defend numbers to the CEO.
  • Fluency with AI tools and data-driven decision making; coding is not required, but data-first thinking is essential.
  • Direct experience marketing home services, trades, or local services at scale.
  • Hands-on expertise with ServiceTitan, HubSpot, or comparable CRM/field-service platforms.
  • Track record managing multi-location or multi-brand marketing programs.
  • Advanced proficiency in SEO, schema markup, and Google Business Profile optimization, with the ability to teach these skills to a team.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $110,000–$145,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
