Job Description
Based in Woodstock, Illinois, American Community Bank & Trust offers an onsite role with a competitive compensation package. The Marketing Director position carries a salary range of USD 90,000 to 130,000 per year and is responsible for defining brand and creative vision, steering strategic marketing initiatives, and coordinating cross-functional programs to grow deposits, drive product adoption, and strengthen client loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Embed marketing in executive planning to establish annual goals and quarterly tactical plans.
- Define growth KPIs, set reporting cadences, and lead audits, ideation sessions, and benchmarking efforts.
- Design and execute integrated campaigns across commercial, wealth, and consumer segments to advance deposits, high net worth client acquisition, digital adoption, and client education.
- Own CRM, attribution, and dashboards; deliver weekly and monthly insights and use analytics to optimize targeting, channel mix (brand, digital, email, CRM, paid, SEO/SEM) and ROI.
- Collaborate with Private Client, Commercial, Treasury, ACWM, and Relationship teams on go-to-market plans, events, and sales enablement.
- Ensure collateral and campaigns clearly communicate value and yield measurable outcomes.
- Set brand and creative standards while improving workflow and production quality.
- Approve client-facing materials for regulatory compliance and audit readiness; lead PR and external communications with executive leadership alignment.
- Set, manage, and report the annual marketing budget and forecast.
- Select and manage strategic vendors and major projects (annual report, website, platform migrations); delegate tasks to direct reports and vendors.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team; align cross-functional efforts with revenue objectives.
- Lead employer-brand initiatives, internal communications, employee events, and recruitment marketing; partner with HR on culture and engagement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA or advanced marketing credentials preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 3 years leading strategy and managing teams.
- Proven track record in financial services or other regulated industries preferred.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms, analytics and dashboarding tools, and SEO/SEM best practices.
- Demonstrated success managing vendors, agencies, and cross-functional projects; familiarity with regulatory review processes preferred.
