Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams across the ministry to create clear, persuasive, conversion-focused content that supports engagement and fundraising across email, landing pages, web banners, donor communications, and product pages
- Translate campaign briefs and messaging frameworks into content that connects, is easy to understand, and motivates readers to take the next step
- Tailor messaging for donors, subscribers, and participants while maintaining a consistent voice, tone, and strong theological alignment
- Ensure every piece of content is accurate, on-brand, and aligned with campaign goals
- Utilize AI tools, audience feedback, and performance insights to strengthen content and boost engagement
- Repurpose content across channels in deliberate, tailored ways rather than duplicating
- Develop and test variations (subject lines, hooks, calls-to-action) to learn what resonates and improve performance
- Contribute ideas to enhance how the team writes, creates, and collaborates
- Maintain messaging consistency across all campaign touchpoints to present one clear, cohesive message and guiding next steps
- Improve flow, clarity, and transitions within messaging to keep it natural and intentional
- Consider each piece within the larger audience journey, meeting people where they are and guiding toward the next step
- Identify gaps or friction in messaging and take initiative to strengthen the overall experience
Requirements
- An understanding of and commitment to the mission and values of Proverbs 31 Ministries
- 3–5 years of experience in copywriting, content marketing, or digital marketing
- Strong writing and editing skills focused on clarity, engagement, and conversion
- Openness to feedback with discernment, knowing when to refine and when to stand firm
- Ability to execute within a defined content strategy and messaging framework
- Understanding of multi-channel marketing and campaign execution
- Familiarity with audience segmentation and adapting messaging accordingly
- Experience using AI tools to support content creation and optimization
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deliverables
- A collaborative, humble, and team-first mindset
- Experience in ministry, nonprofit, Christian media, or donor communications is preferred
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Fundraise Up, or other marketing automation platforms is a plus
