Job Description
Capital Credit Union seeks a Marketing Content Specialist to develop high-quality content across channels, support brand and product promotion, manage social platforms, and analyze performance to drive engagement and conversions. This on-site role in Green Bay requires collaboration with marketing teams and participation in a variety of content initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage social media platforms and enhance digital word of mouth through compelling content that raises brand awareness, communicates our story, and contributes to the credit union’s success.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Community Relations teams to execute integrated campaigns aligned with business objectives.
- Write and optimize content for search engines to improve online visibility and drive website traffic.
- Establish and enforce content governance standards to ensure consistency with brand voice and style guidelines.
- Liaise with the marketing team to create and execute content in line with the strategy and editorial calendar.
- Identify content gaps and propose recommendations to support tailored help and consumer goals, driving conversions.
- Oversee reviews and contribute to delivering a positive digital experience.
- Produce content supporting product campaigns, member experience, and technology adoption goals.
- Write, proofread, edit, and fact-check content in accordance with brand guidelines and best practices.
- Partner effectively within Marketing and with other organizational units to coordinate efforts.
- Remain familiar with emerging technologies, including AI-driven tools (eg, Jasper), and trends such as interactive content, personalization, and dynamic storytelling.
- Create diverse content formats, including blogs, vertical videos, social posts, case studies, and more.
- Conduct audience research to craft personalized, engaging content for target demographics.
- Analyze metrics, refine strategies for engagement and targeting, and share reports with the team on a monthly basis or as needed.
- Represent the organization in digital formats through content and engagement with community efforts.
- Support ongoing process improvements for the department and projects through collaboration, documentation, and clear communication.
- Assist with additional duties such as researching projects, participating in and planning events (eg, grand openings or new product launches) and branding activities.
- Occasional travel to branches, meetings, seminars, and conferences.
- Some weekend or after-hours activities may be required to capture content at events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Creative Writing, or a related field is required.
- 3+ years of content creation and marketing experience is a plus.
- Copywriting skills with the ability to adapt to the brand voice across multiple mediums.
- Experience in social media strategy is required.
- Familiarity with SEO practices and strategies as they apply to blogs and digital content.
- Proficiency with vertical videos, reels, stories, and other social media formats.
- Strong analytical mindset for tracking metrics and KPIs across social platforms and content channels; able to optimize strategy based on findings and share insights regularly.
- Experience with social platforms, blog tools, digital publishing platforms, content management systems, and A/B testing platforms.
- Experience managing review software is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using project management software is a plus.
- Experience in photography and videography is a plus.
- Strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication abilities.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively.
- Demonstrated multitasking capability and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive communication style and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Availability to work weekends or nights as needed to capture event content.
