Job Description

The Marketing and Business Development Specialist role at BXC Roofing in East Texas focuses on guiding marketing, brand strategy, community engagement, events, social media, and lead generation to support growth in Tyler and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to raise brand awareness and market presence.
  • Oversee and maintain the company’s social media channels with consistent, engaging content.
  • Produce content including photographs, videos, customer testimonials, and educational material.
  • Plan and manage digital advertising campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Google, and additional platforms.
  • administer marketing budgets, track expenses, and maintain organized records.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing performance metrics to inform decisions.
  • Plan and coordinate community events, charity initiatives, sponsorships, trade shows, and customer appreciation activities, managing logistics and vendor relationships.
  • Represent the company at local events and in community outreach efforts.
  • Develop relationships with local businesses, organizations, schools, sports teams, and nonprofits; identify suitable sponsorship opportunities.
  • Promote BXC Roofing’s involvement in community initiatives and cultivate referral networks with insurers, agents, realtors, contractors, property managers, and community leaders.
  • Attend networking events, chamber meetings, trade shows, and industry gatherings; coordinate presentations, booth setup, and branded materials.
  • Build strategic partnerships that generate qualified leads and collaborate with sales and production to showcase completed projects and customer success stories.
  • Support recruiting visibility and align social media strategy with brand objectives.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across the company’s websites and platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube, with frequent posting of project highlights, testimonials, educational content, and culture.
  • Capture photos and videos at job sites and events to support marketing efforts; respond to comments and inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
  • Track social media performance, produce monthly reports, and stay current on trends and best practices to maximize reach.
  • Coordinate paid social campaigns and promotional initiatives; drive customer experience improvements to bolster reputation and satisfaction.
  • Monitor customer feedback, reviews, and survey results to identify opportunities for service and process enhancements.
  • Coordinate with sales, project teams, and leadership to ensure a smooth customer journey from first contact to project completion; implement processes to improve communication and education.
  • Manage customer appreciation programs, referral initiatives, and post-project follow-up campaigns; support online reputation through review generation and engagement.
  • Identify customer pain points and recommend improvements to service delivery and operational efficiency; track satisfaction metrics and advise leadership.
  • Maintain CRM records, referral partner database, and keep office branding, materials, apparel, and promotional items organized.
  • Track leads generated through networking and marketing activities; prepare monthly reports on business development and marketing performance.
  • Assist leadership with growth initiatives and strategic planning.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, business development, networking, public relations, or related fields.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and event-planning abilities.
  • Proficiency with social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to attend occasional evening and weekend events.
  • Experience managing digital advertising campaigns and SEO.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and marketing software.
  • Graphic design or content creation experience.
  • Active involvement in professional networking organizations.
  • Experience managing budgets and prioritizing spend across multiple initiatives.
