Job Description

The Manager, Content Marketing at Royal Bank of Canada leads investment content marketing across media channels, partnering with internal teams to create and refresh content for the US market. The role also directs the global team’s deployment of AI to demonstrate meaningful gains.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Investment, Distribution, and Marketing teams to produce high impact thought leadership across print, digital, and video formats, aligning with commercial goals and client needs, with emphasis on intermediary audiences.
  • Adapt and repurpose content from other offices to extend reach and consistency.
  • Refresh evergreen materials such as webpages and whitepapers to maintain relevance and accuracy.
  • Support and, where appropriate, oversee editorial calendars, timely delivery, impact measurement, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Transmit key messaging from Investment and Distribution stakeholders to articulate client needs, core messages, and calls to action before content production, ensuring alignment in output.
  • With a focus on AI tools, leverage insights across media types, geographies, and distribution opportunities, collaborating closely with global content teams to enable rapid deployment across regions.
  • Partner with Digital and Marketing teams to evaluate content performance, share insights, and identify opportunities for optimization, including campaign success metrics and A/B testing results.
  • Pilot new content formats, technologies, and distribution tactics leveraging AI to stay ahead of industry trends.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience creating marketing content, with strong decision making and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to distill complex concepts into clear, engaging, and visually compelling content for institutional and intermediary audiences.
  • High output capacity, agile problem solving, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, client oriented environment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the initiative to work independently with limited guidance.
  • Experience deploying AI tools for content optimization and a growth mindset toward testing emerging trends and evolving ideas or processes in content creation.
