Leasing/Marketing Manager

Pierce Education Properties is seeking a Leasing/Marketing Manager to guide the occupancy strategy for Tremont, a 204-unit, 696-bed student housing community in State College, Pennsylvania, near the Penn State University campus. This onsite role centers on developing a strategic marketing plan to drive leasing activity, maintain high retention, and pre-lease future availability while leading a leasing team that operates within the Pierce Education Properties brand guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan to drive the property’s leasing efforts through brand recognition and reputation, with a focus on retention of existing residents, leasing current availability, and pre-leasing future availability.
• Work closely with the Community Manager to ensure creative targeted campaigns and events are executed within the Pierce Education Properties brand.
• Utilize knowledge of trending marketing techniques to impact sales and leasing efforts, specifically related to college students.
• Develop and lead a leasing team who have the skills to provide excellent customer service and support the goal of 100% occupancy.

Requirements

• 2+ years of leasing for off-campus student housing apartments preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; college degree or proven success in a Leasing Director position preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• High energy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy and take pride in providing excellent customer service.
• Basic computer skills: typing and writing ability for correspondence, memos, etc.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.
