Job Description
FloresHR, LLC is hiring a Director of Marketing to lead the marketing function in a high-impact, hands-on capacity. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape and execute go-to-market strategy while building the systems that connect marketing activity to sales pipeline results across traditional, digital, and AI-driven channels.
This hybrid role is based in Charlotte, NC and includes operating as both a strategist and an executor, partnering closely with sales, product, and executive leadership as the company evolves.
What you’ll do
- Build the sales and marketing growth engine by designing and running the connection between marketing and sales, including lead scoring and routing, sales enablement content, and closed-loop reporting from campaign to closed deal.
- Drive near-term pipeline impact by identifying and executing quick wins that improve conversion on active opportunities while longer-term systems are built.
- Support go-to-market strategy by defining and executing GTM plans in coordination with sales leadership and the executive team, including segmentation, positioning, and launch strategy for current and future offerings.
- Build brand recognition with a multi-channel brand strategy that increases visibility and credibility with HR and benefits decision-makers.
- Grow qualified traffic and discoverability by maximizing visibility across SEO/SEM, AI-driven search and assistants, and emerging channels.
- Apply AI across marketing operations to scale content creation, campaign execution, and reporting, increasing output and speed without requiring a large internal team.
- Partner on enterprise change management as products and capabilities evolve, ensuring the market is accurately informed and sales has what it needs to sell effectively.
- Partner across the product lifecycle by working with product leadership from early development through launch and providing a marketing perspective at each stage.
- Manage agency and vendor partnerships to extend execution capacity and deliver against the strategy you set.
- Perform other duties as assigned, while maintaining quality work that reflects and promotes the company’s core values.
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, including B2B marketing in a growth-stage or fast-scaling company.
- Proven experience building or significantly improving the marketing-to-sales connection, including lead scoring, routing, and sales enablement content.
- Ability to operate as a hands-on individual contributor while directing external agencies or vendors to extend capacity.
- Working fluency with SEO/SEM and an informed point of view on AI-driven search and discoverability.
- Practical experience using AI tools for content creation, marketing automation, or campaign execution.
- Experience developing and managing a marketing budget that balances investment with value.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with sales, product, and executive stakeholders.
