Role overview

The Direct-to-Consumer Marketing Specialist drives growth through direct, community-centered engagement. This field-based role focuses on building trust, boosting brand visibility, and converting relationships into enrollment. Through grassroots outreach, local networking, and consistent follow-up, the specialist ensures services stay top of mind for families and caregivers, while maintaining a strong local presence in Kansas City and surrounding communities. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a local brand ambassador, promoting Advantage Home Care’s services within assigned communities.
  • Conduct door-to-door outreach, participate in health fairs and approved local events, and engage with family-selected caregivers (BYOC) and potential clients.
  • Educate families on care options, provide marketing materials, and guide them toward enrollment.
  • Track all leads and activity in CRM or designated tools; meet KPIs including calls, visits, referrals, and conversions.
  • Collaborate closely with intake and recruitment teams to ensure seamless hand-offs and client onboarding.
  • Address misconceptions, overcome objections, and personalize outreach using regional knowledge.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving any issue or dissatisfaction faced by a client or caregiver.
  • Dedicate 75% of work time to forward-facing, growth-focused activities.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, marketing, or community outreach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and comfortable working independently in the field.
  • Organized with experience using CRM tools and managing follow-up (preferred).
  • Knowledge of local community dynamics and grassroots marketing tactics.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • 75% in the field actively engaging with prospects and community partners.
  • Strong community presence through regular weekly visits in assigned regions.
  • Lead conversion by generating referrals and turning them into active clients and caregivers.

  • Team collaboration with intake and recruitment for smooth follow-through.
