Job Description

The Digital Marketing Specialist will develop and manage digital content across email, social media, and other channels for Hardware Resources home design brands, driving brand awareness, audience engagement, and lead generation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage digital content across email, social networks, and other channels to reach dealers, the design community, and homeowners.
  • Support and grow brand awareness, engagement, and leads in alignment with the broader marketing strategy.
  • Plan, build, and execute email campaigns to boost engagement, nurture leads, and back product launches.
  • Design customer journeys, segment audiences, and run A/B tests to optimize performance.
  • Track campaign metrics, generate reports, and act on insights to improve results.
  • Create content for Facebook and Instagram with emphasis on organic growth, including text, video, and images.
  • Engage in online conversations with customers, respond promptly, and foster a community around the brands.
  • Maintain a steady posting cadence of 2 to 3 posts per week per platform.
  • Monitor user posts featuring our products, reshare where appropriate, and build relationships with active followers for potential collaborations.
  • Leverage storytelling, mood boards, and graphic design to produce high-quality posts.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create assets that support corporate goals across digital channels.
  • Contribute to website updates and digital advertising projects as needed.
  • Observe traffic, growth, and engagement across accounts and drive improvements in key metrics.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong graphic design abilities for digital media using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or equivalents.
  • Deep knowledge of social media trends, best practices, and engagement strategies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and time management capabilities.
  • Comfort working within a collaborative, cross-functional team.
  • Minimum of 3 years in digital marketing, with emphasis on email marketing and social media management.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms, with Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred; HubSpot, Mailchimp, or Campaign Monitor as alternatives.
  • Experience building customer journeys, segmentation, and campaign reporting.
  • Experience designing for digital media, including email templates, websites, digital ads, and social graphics.
  • Working knowledge of multiple social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others).
  • Ability to translate ideas into finished content across text, image, and video.
  • Ability to follow visual branding guidelines and maintain the voice of multiple brands.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, with consistently high-quality output.
  • Experience in B2B digital marketing.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing content across text, image, and video.
