Job Description

Lead the digital marketing and SEO program for A&E Plumbing, Heating & Air to grow traffic, rankings, and leads while expanding local market presence across websites, content, local SEO, email, and paid channels.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee ongoing management and enhancement of the company website
  • Optimize pages for search performance and user experience
  • Develop and maintain city-specific landing pages
  • Create and optimize service pages
  • Implement and maintain schema markup across the site
  • Improve page speed and Core Web Vitals
  • Sustain the internal linking strategy
  • Optimize metadata, headings, images, and URLs
  • Monitor Google Search Console and resolve technical SEO issues
  • Maintain XML sitemaps and indexing
  • Plan and execute an annual content calendar
  • Produce or coordinate high-quality blog articles
  • Refresh existing content to boost rankings
  • Generate localized content for targeted service areas
  • Incorporate calls-to-action to improve lead generation
  • Build pillar pages and topic clusters
  • Develop FAQs and educational homeowner resources
  • Ensure content adheres to E-E-A-T best practices
  • Manage Google Business Profiles and keep business information current
  • Publish Google Posts regularly
  • Respond to customer reviews and manage reputation
  • Design and execute review generation campaigns
  • Optimize service areas for better local visibility
  • Manage business listings and citations
  • Improve local search rankings across Oregon and Washington markets
  • Develop monthly social media calendar
  • Produce content for Facebook and Instagram, including Reels, Stories, educational videos, and before/after content
  • Coordinate photography and video with technicians
  • Foster community engagement and respond to comments and messages
  • Track engagement metrics and report insights
  • Create customer newsletters and automated email campaigns
  • Develop seasonal marketing campaigns and membership growth initiatives
  • Build lead nurturing campaigns and improve website conversion rates
  • Optimize landing pages and calls-to-action to boost online scheduling conversions
  • Monitor user behavior with analytics tools and base decisions on data
  • Track and report website traffic, organic rankings, local rankings, Google Business Profile performance, leads, conversion rates, social media growth, paid advertising performance, and campaign ROI
  • Provide monthly reports including Completed work, performance metrics, wins, challenges, and next month's priorities
  • Coordinate and maintain marketing assets across website, social, advertising, printed materials, vehicles, uniforms, photography, email templates, Google Business Profiles, and directory listings
  • Manage Google Ads, Local Service Ads, and Meta advertising campaigns with ROI focus
  • Coordinate photography and video production; assist with recruiting marketing; support community outreach events
  • Design marketing materials when needed and coordinate promotional campaigns
  • Maintain a comprehensive marketing asset library

Requirements

  • 3+ years of digital marketing experience
  • Experience with local SEO and Google Business Profiles
  • Experience with HubSpot and CMS platforms (WordPress or HubSpot)
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console
  • Experience with SEMrush or similar SEO tools
  • Experience with Meta Business Suite and Google Ads
  • Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Photography and video editing experience
  • Understanding of AI assisted content creation
  • Excellent written communication and strong organizational skills
  • Project management capability and analytical thinking
  • Attention to detail and self-motivation
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and make data-driven decisions
  • Creative mindset aligned with business objectives
  • Ability to work independently
