Content Marketing Manager
Job Description
Mailprotector is hiring a content marketing manager to lead storytelling and content creation that supports B2B lead generation and growth. This remote role focuses on planning and publishing high-quality content, translating technology into clear messaging, and partnering across marketing, business development, partners, and client success to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
What you’ll do
- Develop research-driven B2B content including whitepapers, blogs, videos, webinars, social media posts, and more to attract target prospects and support engagement and conversion. This includes thought leadership, client and user testimonials, webinar and video content, and copy for other digital marketing initiatives.
- Act as Mailprotector’s strategic storyteller by capturing the brand voice and communicating the company’s technology differentiators to the market.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to create a content strategy and maintain a content calendar aligned to overarching lead generation and growth goals across Marketing, Business Development, Partner/Client Success, and Executive Teams.
- Own the posting schedule for Mailprotector’s social media and coordinate with the Marketing Director and Design & Demand Generation (graphic design lead) to ensure channel-appropriate creative. Respond as the company across relevant social channels.
- Build relationships with Mailprotector MSP Partners to develop partner-led stories and support future co-marketing or sell-through content.
- Serve as an on-camera personality for Mailprotector content, particularly vertical short-form videos, and potentially other video categories as you learn the product and deepen relationships.
- Create engaging content to drive net new leads, marketing qualified leads, and new partner acquisition across the Managed Services / IT Services market.
- Monitor content performance after launch and deliver data-informed analysis with proactive recommendations.
- Stay current on industry activity and marketing content trends to generate new ideas for the desired audiences.
- Coordinate with the Marketing Events Manager (or other team members) to execute on-site trade show content or support from afar.
- Work closely with the Marketing Director and Design & Demand Generation to maintain brand standards, execute the overall content vision, and ensure timely production for marketing campaign needs.
- Support the VP of Marketing with specialty content contract negotiations as needed and manage deliverables tied to those contracts.
What you bring
- 2+ years of direct content creation experience. Preference for copywriters, videographers, or social media managers. A marketing/content portfolio is required.
- 1+ years of direct social media management (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram preferred).
- Willingness to appear on camera or be photographed as a company representative.
- Ability to travel at least 20% to relevant industry events or headquarters.
- Strong writing and communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex technologies or stories for any audience.
- Comfort operating cross-functionally and influencing without direct authority across marketing, sales, product, and partner/client teams.
- Ability to organize and project manage content creation from start to finish.
- Self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail and a distinct point of view.
- Remote eligibility: GA, TX, TN, KY, FL, NC, SC. SC candidates in the greater Greenville, SC area will have hybrid expectations.

- Experience with community-based social platforms such as Discord or Reddit.
- General knowledge of marketing and sales platforms, with HubSpot preferred.

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications
