Job Description

This role leads the design and rollout of digital marketing solutions powered by Salesforce Marketing Cloud, supporting Members 1st Federal Credit Union’s efforts to deliver personalization and engagement at scale. You will oversee marketing automation architecture and integration across websites, digital platforms, and personalization engines, shaping customer journey and cross-channel campaign experiences.

Working onsite in Enola, PA, you will drive strategy and execution across email and other digital channels, ensure effective data management and privacy compliance, and collaborate with multiple marketing and analytics teams to improve outcomes through continuous testing and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and execution of marketing automation strategies in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (including Journey Builder and Email Studio).
  • Collaborate with strategists who manage other marketing channels such as SMS, social, mobile, web, paid media, and direct mail by providing recommendations in lockstep with cross-channel plans.
  • Design and implement customer journeys and multi-channel campaigns across email, SMS, web, and social platforms.
  • Own digital campaign strategy and execution, including lead generation growth planning and lifecycle marketing campaign development.
  • Oversee platform integrations involving Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other systems.
  • Ensure data management, segmentation, and privacy regulation compliance.
  • Partner with marketing, digital engagement, digital experience, and data and analytics teams to deliver data-driven, personalized experiences.
  • Provide technical guidance and strategic direction for Marketing Cloud capabilities.
  • Manage goals and KPIs, recommend testing and improvements, and review/analyze campaign results to enhance customer experience and marketing recommendations.
  • Lead prioritization and collaboration to deliver digital campaigns and projects, including Marketing Cloud websites, digital platforms, and personalization engines.
  • Identify and help mitigate roadblocks with the digital engagement team, marketing, and digital experience teams.
  • Share knowledge through thought leadership and act as a knowledge transfer resource for best practices and capabilities.
  • Develop, maintain, and project the Marketing Cloud annual budget, including resource allocation and utilization to maintain financial soundness.
  • Advocate for digital advancement and maintain team staffing to support achievement of team goals while ensuring expenditures remain within the approved operating budget.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of lifecycle and retention marketing experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Proven experience in marketing technology architecture and cross-channel campaign execution.
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems, APIs, data structures, and integration best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills, along with strong project management skills for driving progress across simultaneous efforts.
  • Experience building presentations and presenting a clear story.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Education level: general and business knowledge equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer and Email Specialist certifications are a plus, including candidates who built comparable expertise through professional experience.

Working Conditions / Physical Demands

  • Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to use a PC keyboard and standard office equipment, with sufficient manual skill.
  • Ability to visually perform tasks such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
  • Ability to exert minimum force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.

Compensation: USD 112,000 per year.
