Associate Marketing Manager

The Associate Marketing Manager on the Dell Romance team at Penguin Random House operates in a hybrid New York area setting, leading campaigns for 8–10 romance titles per season across social, digital, and influencer channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute campaigns for 8–10 romance titles per season, guiding activities from launch through publication and backlist support as needed
• Identify target audiences and craft creative approaches to reach readers across social media, digital communities, retail channels, and emerging platforms
• Shape social media strategy and plan influencer event programming
• Maintain a current view of trends in romance and romantasy, including BookTok, Bookstagram, Goodreads, Substack, and creator/influencer communities
• Build strong working relationships with authors, agents, influencers, and internal stakeholders to enable successful campaign execution
• Analyze campaign performance and audience engagement metrics to optimize marketing strategy and identify growth opportunities

Requirements

• 3–4 years of direct campaign management experience in digital or title marketing
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong communication abilities, able to collaborate across departments and with external partners
• Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable approach to problem solving and campaign management
• Familiarity with Canva, TikTok, Instagram, and other digital marketing tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment
• A genuine passion for romance and romantasy content
