Job Description

The Associate Marketing Manager on the Dell Romance team at Penguin Random House operates in a hybrid New York area setting, leading campaigns for 8–10 romance titles per season across social, digital, and influencer channels.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute campaigns for 8–10 romance titles per season, guiding activities from launch through publication and backlist support as needed
Identify target audiences and craft creative approaches to reach readers across social media, digital communities, retail channels, and emerging platforms
Shape social media strategy and plan influencer event programming
Maintain a current view of trends in romance and romantasy, including BookTok, Bookstagram, Goodreads, Substack, and creator/influencer communities
Build strong working relationships with authors, agents, influencers, and internal stakeholders to enable successful campaign execution
Analyze campaign performance and audience engagement metrics to optimize marketing strategy and identify growth opportunities

Requirements

3–4 years of direct campaign management experience in digital or title marketing
Excellent organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
Strong communication abilities, able to collaborate across departments and with external partners
Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable approach to problem solving and campaign management
Familiarity with Canva, TikTok, Instagram, and other digital marketing tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment
A genuine passion for romance and romantasy content
