Job Description

This on-site Assistant Marketing Manager role in Nacogdoches, Texas supports event planning, social media management, and community partnerships for Lumberjack Harley-Davidson.

Responsibilities

  • Help plan and execute dealership events, on site activations, and community sponsorships.
  • Develop and schedule platform-specific content for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok that reflects our brand voice and boosts engagement.
  • Coordinate artwork requests and assets with the graphic design team, keeping organized tracking and clear communication.
  • Support email marketing campaigns via our marketing partner, including content preparation and list coordination.
  • Drive advertising sales initiatives by drafting persuasive proposals and collaborating with the sales team to maximize revenue.
  • Monitor social media performance, door traffic data, and campaign ROI, then report findings.
  • Assist with Marketing Development Fund documentation and tracking.
  • Manage day-to-day community engagement across platforms in the dealership voice, responding to comments, tags, and messages.
  • Support product management teams with market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Assist budgeting processes for marketing projects to ensure efficient allocation of resources.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, content marketing, or related roles with a solid multichannel strategy background.
  • Proficiency in SEO best practices, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Advertising, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong written communication skills capable of crafting captions that stop the scroll and emails that prompt a response.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, community facing environment.
  • Strong research capabilities combined with analytical skills to interpret data insights effectively.
  • Photography and basic video editing skills are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Meta Business Suite, and email marketing platforms preferred.
  • Genuine love for community, events, and storytelling.
  • Passion for the Harley-Davidson brand and lifestyle is a plus but not required; a strong enthusiasm for people is essential.
