The Manager of Marketing Engagement will design, build, and optimize patient lifecycle journeys across the network to boost retention, visit frequency, and lifetime value through targeted email and SMS campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Steer the CRM and patient retention framework from concept to execution and ongoing optimization
- Identify opportunities to increase patient frequency, treatment adherence, and long term engagement
- Design, deploy, and refine journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio
- Utilize data extensions, segmentation, and personalization (SQL and AMPscript experience preferred but not required) to tailor communications
- Collaborate with data and IT teams to ensure seamless integration, data flow, and scalable platform architecture
- Create condition specific and service line journeys (acne, skin cancer follow-ups, cosmetic treatments, chronic conditions)
- Develop trigger based campaigns tied to patient behavior, visit history, and care plans
- Continuously optimize journeys based on performance and engagement signals
- Analyze campaign performance and patient behavior to uncover insights and drive improvements
- Monitor email deliverability, inbox placement, sender reputation, and engagement signals; provide actionable optimization recommendations
- Measure and report on KPIs such as retention rate, visit frequency, reactivation rate, and lifetime value
- Lead A/B testing and experimentation across messaging, timing, and channel strategy
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and clinical teams to align messaging with patient care goals
- Ensure all communications comply with HIPAA and patient privacy standards
- Partner with the Director of Digital Marketing on broader growth initiatives
Requirements
- 5 to 8+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or retention focused roles
- Healthcare experience is highly preferred
- Hands on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is preferred (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, segmentation) but not required
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategy and execution
- Experience building automated, multi-step lifecycle journeys across email and SMS
- Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, and personalization strategies is preferred
- Experience in healthcare, multi location, or service based businesses is a strong plus
- Bachelor degree in related Marketing specialties
